TradeWindow Clarifies Lactalis Export Deal's Strategic Value
TradeWindow Holdings, a software company listed on New Zealand's exchange, has revised how it describes an agreement with Lactalis, the global dairy group. The company said it would provide its Prodoc software for export documentation across Lactalis's Australian and New Zealand operations.
The clarification followed an earlier TradeWindow statement that called the Lactalis contract one of “significant value”. TradeWindow said the importance of the agreement relates mainly to its strategic value, rather than to the revenue it will generate.
The company also stated that the contract's financial value is below the level required for classification as a material contract under NZX listing rules. That disclosure was made to clarify the agreement's significance for investors and to distinguish its commercial importance from its monetary size.
TradeWindow supplies digital tools to exporters, importers, freight forwarders and customs brokers. Its integrated platform is designed to support back-office processes, manage information and enable secure cooperation among participants in international supply chains.
The agreement covers Lactalis's export activity in Australia and New Zealand. TradeWindow described the arrangement as a partnership with a major participant in the dairy industry and said that supplying Prodoc would place its software within the operating structure of a large food exporter.
Lactalis expanded its regional presence in March 2026 through the acquisition of Fonterra's global consumer and associated businesses, including the Mainland Group. TradeWindow cited that transaction when explaining the strategic context of its agreement with Lactalis.
The company did not disclose the contract's monetary value. Its clarification therefore maintained that the agreement is strategically significant while confirming that it does not meet the NZX threshold for a material contract.
