Sommet de l’Élevage Opens Dedicated Animal Health Area
Sommet de l’Élevage 2026 in Cournon-d’Auvergne has opened a dedicated area for the prevention, monitoring, and control of diseases in farm animals. It brings together veterinary organizations, animal health groups, and public and private laboratories.
The area is located in Hall 2. According to Marjorie Coulon of GDS Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, scientific and technical organizations that had previously been located in different parts of the exhibition are now represented in one space.
The program includes more than 15 short conferences and discussions on animal health. A roundtable on how to prepare for future animal health crises is scheduled for October 7. For dairy farms, these issues are linked to herd health and the continuity of milk production.
