Singapore recalls Arla pudding over possible glass fragments

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) said it had ordered Trade-Pro Food Distribution, the product’s importer, to remove the affected pudding from sale. The recall concerns Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavour Pudding with a salted-caramel flavour and a net weight of 200g.

The action relates to the potential presence of glass fragments in the food. SFA described the withdrawal as a precautionary measure and said the recall process was still under way when it issued its statement on October 26, 2026.

SFA said the recall followed a notification issued by Food Standards Australia New Zealand. The agency’s media release did not provide details on how the possible contamination was identified or on the quantity of product involved.

The product covered by the recall can be identified by its “best before” date of April 28, 2027. SFA advised consumers who have bought the affected item not to eat it. The information provided by the agency did not state how many packs had been sold in Singapore.

People who have eaten the product and are concerned about their health were told to seek medical attention. They may also contact the place where they bought the pudding for enquiries about the recall.

SFA said that, under Singapore’s Sale of Food Act, food known to be unsafe for consumption must not be sold. The agency’s instruction to the importer applies while the product withdrawal is ongoing.
