Russia Plans to Allocate 261.7 Billion Rubles for Agricultural Program

The funding volumes are specified in the explanatory note to the draft federal budget of Russia for 2027-2029. The document is available in the electronic database of the lower house of parliament.

The state program for the development of agriculture and the regulation of agricultural product markets is allocated 261.744 billion rubles in 2027. In 2028, the allocations are expected to be 304.564 billion rubles, and in 2029 — 306.054 billion rubles.

Separately, the budget project specifies funding for the program "Development of the Fisheries Complex". It plans to allocate 18.73 billion rubles in 2027, 10.471 billion rubles in 2028, and 10.904 billion rubles in 2029.

The "Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas" program is allocated 65.268 billion rubles in 2027. In the following two years, the allocation volumes are indicated at 53.319 billion and 50.145 billion rubles.

Expenditures on the state program for the turnover of agricultural land and the development of the melioration complex will amount to 33.37 billion rubles in 2027. For 2028, 27.421 billion rubles are planned, and for 2029 — 27.521 billion rubles.
