Russian Veterinary Vaccine Exports Increased by 21% in Early 2025

Russian veterinary vaccine producers continue to expand their export deliveries, taking advantage of the reduced presence of foreign companies in the domestic market. According to data, in the first quarter of 2025, the export of veterinary vaccines from Russia increased by 20.7% in value terms compared to the same period in 2024.

The main importers were Kazakhstan, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan.
Domestic production also shows growth. In 2024, vaccine production reached a record 32 billion doses, which is 52% higher than the 2023 level. The total production of veterinary drugs amounted to 50 million packages. The average annual industry growth rate since 2020 is about 13%.
Today, there are 90 enterprises in Russia producing veterinary drugs. In 2024, 138 new products entered the market, with the share of domestic drugs among registered ones reaching 64.2%, including 368 vaccines.
