Richard Wyeth to Lead Synlait
Richard Wyeth has officially been appointed as the CEO of Synlait. The change in leadership was announced to take effect on May 19, replacing Tim Carter, who has been the acting CEO. Carter will return to his position as CEO of Synlait’s subsidiary Dairyworks once Wyeth assumes the role.
Background and Experience
Wyeth transitions to Synlait with substantial experience in the dairy industry. He has previously served as CEO of Westland and has an impressive track record in managing companies in New Zealand's dairy sector. Before his tenure at Westland, Wyeth was the CEO of Miraka, a dairy company based in Taupō. His career also includes helping to establish Open Country Dairy and holding management roles at Coca-Cola Amatil and DB Breweries.
