According to the National Statistics Committee, from January to August 2025, large processing enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 1.6 thousand tons of butter, which is 27.8% more than in the same period last year.

For comparison, in January-August 2023, the production volume was 0.6 thousand tons, and in 2024 it was 1.3 thousand tons. Thus, over two years, the indicator has increased more than 2.5 times.
The growth is attributed to the expansion of dairy processing enterprises' capacities and the increased domestic demand for natural butter, especially from the confectionery and baking industries.
