Milk Production in Russia Increased by 4% in 2025
The largest milk-producing regions in the country remain:

Republic of Tatarstan — 1.687 million tons, an increase of 8.1%;

Krasnodar Krai — 1.286 million tons, an increase of 2.2%;

Udmurt Republic — 1.037 million tons, a rise of 8.5%;

Voronezh Oblast — 925.9 thousand tons, up 1.7%;

Kirov Oblast — 851.5 thousand tons, an increase of 3.4%.
According to Soyuzmoloko, the total milk production in the Russian Federation in 2025 reached 34.3 million tons compared to 34 million tons a year earlier. The volume of commercial milk increased to 26.7 million tons from 26.1 million tons in 2024.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia expects further growth in the industry: by 2030, milk production in the country may increase to 38.5 million tons.
