The Budget Project Allocates 1.3 Trillion Rubles to Agricultural State Programs
The Minister of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, announced the financing during a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes. According to her, funds are allocated in the federal budget draft for the years 2027-2029 for the implementation of measures in four state programs within the agricultural sector.
The yearly distribution will be 430 billion rubles in 2027, 440 billion rubles in 2028, and over 422 billion rubles in 2029. The total funding volume mentioned by the minister is approximately 1.3 trillion rubles. Lut described these parameters as part of the forming federal budget for the upcoming three-year period.
According to the minister, the draft maintains the main measures of state support for agriculture. These include preferential lending and separate preferential lending for export operations, subsidies to stimulate the production of potatoes and vegetables, as well as support for viticulture and winemaking. Additionally, subsidies for "Rosagroleasing" are provided.
Special attention is given to the national project "Technological Provision of Food Security" in the budget structure. Lut stated that the budget allocation volume for this direction has been increased by 20% compared to the previous year. The absolute funding size for the national project is not specified in the minister's statement.
The financing of the state agricultural development program in 2027 is planned to be at the level of 18.5 billion rubles. For 2028, 21 billion rubles are provided for this program, and 21.1 billion rubles for 2029. These amounts are part of the total funds intended for the four state programs in agriculture.
The ongoing support directions are also preserved in the state's "Land" program. Lut listed subsidies for land reclamation work, preparation of land parcel surveying projects, and performing cadastral activities. Other parameters for the distribution of funds between the programs and individual support measures are not provided in the statement.
