NTech: Semi-hard cheeses account for 52.5% of sales in the Russian market
Semi-hard cheeses remain the most demanded category among Russian consumers: from January to September 2025, their share in sales by volume reached 52.5%.
In second place are processed cheeses, which accounted for 19.6% of sales. This is followed by brined and fresh cheeses with a share of 12.4%, as well as cream cheeses at 11%.
Hard cheeses took a less noticeable share in the market structure at 2.8%, along with blue and white mold cheeses at 1.6%, according to NTech data.
