The Dairy Alliance has launched the Udderly Cold Portable Milk Dispenser in collaboration with Kingsport City School District in Tennessee.

This grant-funded system is designed to keep milk at 35°F and serves up to 400 perfectly portioned 8-oz servings without the need for product rotation, significantly reducing waste while enhancing student nutrition.
Agricultural Commissioner Charlie Hatcher emphasized the dispensers' role in maintaining milk freshness and quality, ensuring students receive the best possible dairy products. The initiative aims to solidify the connection between dairy producers and consumers, enhancing the overall dairy supply chain. Funded by an Endowment Grant from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, the project demonstrates the power of strategic partnerships in improving student wellness and has already seen replication across the state.
