Nestlé India Announces Leadership Changes in Nutrition and Dairy
Nestlé India said Gopichandar Jagatheesan, who currently oversees its chocolates and confectionery business, had been nominated to lead nutrition and dairy. He will succeed Vineet Singh, the division’s current business executive officer.
Singh is due to leave his present position for a new role at a Nestlé affiliate. The company has not disclosed further details about that assignment.
Mansi Khanna has been nominated to replace Jagatheesan as business executive officer for chocolates and confectionery. Khanna is currently chief operating officer of Dr. Reddy’s and Nestlé Health Science Limited, a joint venture involving Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Nestlé Health Science.
All three changes are set to become effective on January 1, 2027. The appointments will alter the leadership of two businesses within Nestlé India’s wider portfolio, which also includes packaged foods and other food and beverage categories.
Nestlé India’s nutrition and dairy activities cover products in both categories and operate in a market that includes household dairy consumption, packaged products and specialised nutrition offerings. The chocolates and confectionery business is exposed to brand competition, product launches and seasonal purchasing patterns.
The announcement concerns management appointments. It does not specify changes to dairy procurement, manufacturing capacity or product strategy. Further details of the executives’ responsibilities after the effective date were not provided.
