Munster Bovine will return as a Platinum Sponsor of the FBD National Dairy Show in 2026. The event will bring together dairy farmers, breeders and industry specialists, with Munster Bovine’s team based beside the livestock ring throughout the show in Millstreet.

The company will use the event to launch its 2027 Production and Type Catalogue. The publication lists sires selected across production, functionality and type, including characteristics linked to milk solids, fertility, longevity and conformation. Munster Bovine representatives will discuss breeding requirements with farmers and help them assess bulls against their herd objectives.

Special National Dairy Show prices will also apply to selected bulls during the event. The company said farmers could use the show to review breeding plans, discuss herd performance and examine developments in cattle genetics and breeding practices.

FarmOps will return with a dedicated area separate from Munster Bovine’s main position at the ringside. The team will demonstrate the platform and discuss its use in breeding, herd health, milk recording and routine herd management. Current users will be able to raise questions, while prospective customers can meet the team and view the service.

The show will also provide an early presentation of FarmOps Web, which is being developed as a desktop companion to the FarmOps mobile application. The web platform is designed to help users examine herd and individual-animal records, work with larger volumes of data and navigate information more easily. Its planned functions include broader access and control over herd records, a scalable desktop setting and tools for identifying patterns in farm data.

FarmOps Web is scheduled to become available to all users in 2027. Visitors to the National Dairy Show can register for early access and discuss the platform with the FarmOps team. Munster Bovine said its continuing sponsorship reflected its established association with the show and the farmers, breeders and wider dairy industry represented there.
