Mother Dairy Projects 30% Sales Growth Amid Rising Temperatures

Mother Dairy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), expects its sales to increase by 30% during the upcoming summer season. This growth is projected across key product categories, including ice creams, curd, and dairy beverages. The company attributes this anticipated surge to the early onset of summer and the steady rise in temperatures.

Jayatheertha Chary, the Deputy Managing Director of Mother Dairy, stated in a press release that the company is fully prepared to handle the increased demand with enhanced production capacities, a robust cold chain, and early asset mobilization. He highlighted that innovation and product localization are central to their strategy for the summer season.

Mother Dairy plans to introduce around 30 new products, ranging from industry-first 2-in-1 Matka and Tubs to indulgent Premium Cups and Cones in exciting flavors. The company will also offer new low-calorie ice creams and local favorites like Jamun Yoghurt, Shrikhand, and Pista and Rabri offerings.

In addition, the company has launched a brand campaign during the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup, which aims to further deepen consumer engagement and strengthen brand relevance across markets. The campaign is expected to maintain its momentum throughout the summer season.
