Leche Pascual's Strategic Shift Aims for Billion-Euro Revenue by 2027
Leche Pascual, a prominent player in the dairy industry based in Aranda de Duero, Spain, has announced a significant shift in its business strategy. After parting ways with Mercadona, the company aims to innovate and enhance added value to its products, targeting a turnover of 1 billion euros by 2027.

Pascual recently acquired Café Saula, a Catalan coffee brand, and launched 'Lateado', a new range of chilled drinks appealing to adult consumers not traditionally reached by dairy products. Lateado offers flavors such as natural yogurt, arabica coffee, and African cocoa, aiming for 10 million euros in sales by 2027.

Natalia Fernández, the company's director of dairy business, highlights that "Lateado is not just a milkshake or yogurt, but a new way to experience dairy, focusing on indulgence." This transformation follows Mercadona's decision to cease selling Pascual milk in most regions, limiting it to Burgos and Segovia. Despite this setback, Pascual remains committed to its customers, continuing to supply a range of other products including mineral water and fruit juice blends.

The strategic overhaul also includes initiatives to reduce Pascual's carbon emissions in logistics. Founded in the 1950s by Tomás Pascual Sanz, the company has a rich history of innovation, being the first in Spain to introduce milk in Tetra Pak cartons, skimmed milk, and fruit juice blends. Today, it exports to 67 countries and boasts a diverse product lineup supported by strategic alliances.
