The European Milk Market Observatory published the latest dairy product prices, highlighting a general decline, except in butter. The spot milk price in Italy slightly decreased to 0.55 euros per liter, marking the highest price in the last 5 years for the month of April. Specifically, in the EU territory, the prices for the second week of April are as follows: - Butter: €739/100 kg, +0.3% in the last four weeks, still at historical highs

- Whole Milk Powder (WMP): €435/100 kg, -0.4%
- Cheddar cheese: €460/100 kg, -2.4% in the last four weeks Production costs in the EU's dairy farms continue to decline: 0.8% less in terms of feed and 3.8% in energy compared to a month ago.
