'Oz' is engineered by integrating Land O'Lakes' century-long expertise in agriculture with Microsoft's advanced cloud and AI capabilities. The tool offers data-driven recommendations tailored to the specific needs of individual farms.

In addition to 'Oz,' the partnership has led to a significant digital transformation within Land O'Lakes. Over two-thirds of the cooperative's IT environment has been migrated to Microsoft Azure. This includes the development of a Digital Ag Platform to improve soil quality and a Digital Dairy solution to track and increase dairy production even in areas with limited internet connectivity.

The Digital Dairy solution employs Microsoft AI to predict consumer demand, optimizing the dairy supply chain. This enables farmers to better align their production with market needs, ultimately improving profitability and efficiency in the dairy sector.

Furthermore, the conversion of Land O'Lakes' Crop Protection guide into a digital format has accelerated the development of 'Oz.' This guide, which was traditionally an 800-page resource, is now accessible to agronomists via a mobile-friendly platform, providing quick and accurate responses to complex agricultural questions.
