This is the short report from Michael Mishchenko who prepared the rally rigth now.
Kyrgyzstan impresses!
This time, the car rally will be special, as there are not many farms in Kyrgyzstan, but there is an enormous number of livestock. Animals graze on high mountain pastures.
And farmers there make wonderful dairy products from the milk, like kurut, kaymak, Sary mai, and much more. But to see this, you have to go off-road high into the mountains!!!
This time we will go to the high-mountain lake Son-Kul, located at an altitude of 3000 meters. Around it is the jailoo, wh ere hundreds of livestock graze.
When you are there, it feels like you have gone deep into the past.
We will spend one of the nights in yurts. It will be cold (even at the end of August, sub-zero temperatures are possible).
The owner of the yurts is a farmer. She keeps 20 cows and 15 horses. She feeds guests with her own products for dinners and breakfasts. It is very tasty. And very heartfelt.
