Kazakhstan has presented international businesses with projects in agriprocessing, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and data centers. The discussion took place during a meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister Nurbek Nalybayev and the leaders of KUSTO GROUP, CP GROUP, and CP CHINA.

During negotiations with the leadership of KUSTO GROUP, CP GROUP, and CP CHINA, Kazakhstan outlined four areas for potential investment: agricultural processing, renewable energy, digital infrastructure, and data centers. This meeting was reported by the government's portal.

Following the discussions, government agencies and organizations have been tasked with continuing work on the initiatives of potential investors. The government report did not mention any signed agreements, announced investment sums, or confirmed specific projects.

The proposed areas are connected with the development of domestic agricultural raw material processing and expansion of digital economy infrastructure. The companies participating in the meeting are also engaged in agro-industrial complex and food industry, retail trade, telecommunications and media, digital technologies, automotive industry, pharmaceuticals, financial services, real estate, and the oil and gas sector.

First Deputy Prime Minister Nurbek Nalybayev highlighted the importance of foreign investment and long-term relationships with international partners. The government announced measures to further improve the investment climate and create conditions for the implementation of new projects.

The communication did not specify the cost of potential initiatives, their timelines, locations, or anticipated production capacities. The next stage will be the detailed elaboration of proposals by government structures in collaboration with potential investors.

The negotiations take place against the backdrop of Kazakhstan's expanding investment portfolio. The authorities previously reported a pool of 667 projects worth approximately 162.5 billion dollars. From January to August 2026, the volume of real investments grew by 49.3% in energy, 45.3% in the field of information and communication, 39.9% in the manufacturing industry, and 17.6% in the agro-industrial complex.
