Javier Roza Named President of FeNIL, Aiming to Enhance Dairy Competitiveness
The General Assembly of the Spanish National Federation of Dairy Industries (FeNIL), representing over 60 industry companies, has appointed Javier Roza as its new president. Roza, who served as FeNIL's president from 2016 to 2019, takes over from Ernesto Castro. His leadership comes during a period of structural transformation within the dairy sector.
Javier Roza, the current General Director of Mantequerías Arias, brings nearly two decades of experience in the dairy industry. He also serves as the president of the Interprofessional Dairy Organization (InLAC), which provides him with a comprehensive view of the entire value chain. Roza's educational background includes a Doctorate Cum Laude from UCM, an MBA from IE, and a degree in Biology from the University of Oviedo.
Roza outlined several priorities for his 2026-2028 tenure. These include enhancing industrial competitiveness by creating an environment conducive to milk production and processing in Spain, emphasizing the nutritional value of dairy products, and promoting sectoral dialogue to ensure profitability across the supply chain. Additionally, he aims to expand the Spanish dairy industry's presence in international markets.
The new executive team accompanying Roza includes José Armando Tellado from CAPSA Food as Vice President, Jorge Eugui from ANDROS as Treasurer, and Carolina Muro from NESTLÉ as Secretary. Luis Calabozo, FeNIL's General Director, highlighted Roza's strategic vision and talent as essential for consolidating the Spanish dairy industry as a key global player.
