ITE Group and NDDB Dairy Services Open Russia to Indian Dairy Suppliers

Under the partnership, ITE Group will advise Indian engineering companies on Russian regulatory requirements, conformity certification within the Eurasian Economic Union, equipment-maintenance arrangements and commercial transaction terms.

NDDB Dairy Services will assess domestic engineering firms and identify those whose processing and packaging lines correspond to the specifications used by foreign dairy processors. The initial programme includes joint industry webinars and focused participation by Indian suppliers at DairyTech 2027 in Moscow.

Russian dairy-processing facilities are undergoing broad operational re-equipment, according to the source. Their procurement requirements include machinery, packaging systems and maintenance services from alternative suppliers.

Indian dairy engineering companies are described as having cost and operational advantages suited to high-volume processing. Their presence in Eurasian trade channels has nevertheless been limited, and the partnership is intended to connect those suppliers with procurement demand from overseas processing plants.

The cooperation also covers specialised dairy-plant machinery, milk-collection systems and cold-chain equipment. Expanding overseas sales would give Indian engineering companies opportunities to increase production scale, develop quality standards and use export earnings for further technology investment, according to the source.

Structured trade contacts are also expected to support two-way technology transfers. These could include the adoption by Indian producer-owned dairies of manufacturing and automation practices used in Eurasian processing facilities.
