The Interprofessional Dairy Organization (INLAC) celebrated the conclusion of its campaign 'Count on European Dairy Products' in Madrid, marking a milestone with 500 million impressions in Spain and Belgium over three years.
This campaign, co-financed by the European Union, emphasized the importance of sustainable dairy production and animal welfare, as highlighted by Purificación González, Spain's Deputy Director of Food Promotion.
Impact on Consumer Perception
Javier Roza, President of INLAC, noted the positive impact on consumer perception, citing a 5% increase in dairy consumption over the past five years, reversing previous declining trends.
Future Outlook
INLAC announced the continuation of its campaign until 2027, backed by a 2.7 million euro EU project, aiming to cement dairy's role in a healthy and sustainable diet.
