Hadaf Foods Implements Plex Smart Manufacturing to Enhance Production
Rockwell Automation, a leading industrial automation and digital transformation company, has announced that Hadaf Foods Industries, based in the United Arab Emirates, is implementing the Plex Smart manufacturing platform. This initiative is supported by Precast FZCO and aims to modernize Hadaf Foods' manufacturing operations.
The manufacturing facility, located in the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), focuses on producing a variety of cheese products. Hadaf Foods caters to both regional and international markets, and this platform adoption is part of its strategy to enhance operational visibility, consistency, and performance.
The initial phase of the implementation will concentrate on Plex Production Monitoring. This will create a digital backbone capable of expanding over time to support broader smart manufacturing goals. According to Tom Forster, regional vice president of enterprise software sales for EMEA at Rockwell Automation, the Plex platform is designed to connect machines, people, and processes to turn manufacturing data into real business value.
With the Plex Production Monitoring, Hadaf Foods will gain real-time insights into machine performance, production output, scrap rates, downtime, and overall equipment effectiveness. Automated data capture from machinery, combined with contextual operator inputs, will help eliminate data silos and replace fragmented reporting with consistent and actionable insights.
The collaboration between Hadaf Foods, Rockwell Automation, and Precast supports larger regional industrialization goals aligned with the “We the UAE 2031” vision. These objectives include expanding localized food manufacturing, enhancing supply chain resilience, and adopting advanced digital technologies.
Precast is facilitating the deployment of the platform with an accelerated, structured approach aimed at delivering value and enabling knowledge transfer to Hadaf Foods’ internal teams.
