Grupo Prontu Becomes Leading Milk Importer in Bahia

Grupo Prontu, headquartered in Santo Antônio de Jesus, emerged as the largest milk importer in Bahia, securing the 13th position nationwide. This achievement was confirmed by the company's CEO, Cristina Malvessi, during the SuperBahia event held at the Convention Center in Salvador.

The company's success is attributed to its Chef brand of dairy products, which plays a significant role in its market position. However, Grupo Prontu's offerings extend beyond dairy, with a portfolio of 174 items that includes biscuits, peppers, and other products. This diversification has enabled the company to establish a strong presence across Bahia.

Grupo Prontu's distribution network is comprehensive, covering 99.3% of municipalities in Bahia. This extensive reach is supported by the company's own fleet of 26 trucks and a team of 56 agents, facilitating the transportation of 480 tons of goods to supermarkets throughout the state.

CEO Cristina Malvessi emphasized the collaborative effort behind the company's achievements, noting that many people contribute to the success of the logistical, commercial, and industrial operations. During the SuperBahia event, Malvessi reiterated the company's commitment to maintaining its identity as a family-owned business rooted in Bahia while pursuing national growth.
