Dr. Chiara Gelmini has made history as the newly elected Vice President of the Gorgonzola DOP Consortium, marking the first time a woman has held such a position in the Consortium's history in Novara.

Joining Fabio Leonardi in leadership, Dr. Gelmini's appointment signifies a significant milestone for both the Consortium and the broader dairy sector.

Hailing from Milan, Dr. Gelmini holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the Catholic University, coupled with a diploma in Marketing from Boston University. Since 2011, she has co-led the esteemed Gelmini Carlo srl Dairy in Besate (MI) alongside her brother Marco.
