EkoNiva Launches Low-Fat Cottage Cheese with 18% Protein
The new product has an energy value of 90 kcal per 100 g, while the protein content reaches 18 g per 100 g of product. The company notes that the cottage cheese is suitable for breakfasts and snacks, as well as for making desserts when combined with fruits, berries, nuts, granola, and cereals. EkoNiva emphasizes that the product maintains a "delicate texture and creamy taste."
Low-fat cottage cheese can be purchased in major retail chains and the group's branded stores.
The production is organized at the Anninsky Dairy Plant in the Voronezh region. In August 2025, EkoNiva expanded the capacity of its cottage cheese workshop and commissioned four new cottage cheese makers. This allowed them to double the production of cottage cheese—from 10 to 20 tons of finished product per day. Currently, up to eight containers are used daily for cottage cheese production.
"We constantly work on expanding our range, focusing on consumer demands. Low-fat cottage cheese is a bright example of this. Among buyers, the trend for healthy eating and monitoring the content of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in food products is gaining popularity. Therefore, we offer modern, natural, and importantly, tasty dairy products," said Dmitry Raev, Deputy General Director for Sales and Marketing at EkoNiva-Food Products.
