U.S. dairy cooperative Darigold has introduced a new line of ready-to-drink protein shakes, expanding its product portfolio in response to growing consumer demand for high-protein beverages.

The shakes, available in chocolate and vanilla, each contain 30 grams of protein along with electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals. Made with lactose-free milk, the drinks are free from added sugar.
Darigold’s launch comes as the global market for ready-to-drink protein beverages continues to grow. Research from Mordor Intelligence values the market at $1.8 billion, with projections reaching $2.6 billion by 2030. North America accounts for the largest share, led by the United States, which represents 58% of global consumption.
“Our new protein shakes are crafted with smooth real milk and real ingredients to support everyday nutrition,” said Boyd Tubbs, Darigold’s marketing director.
The product is now available at select retailers across the U.S. and through Amazon.
