Guillaume Millet, vice-president of Danone’s plant-based division in Europe, highlighted the importance of this category, describing it as one of the most exciting and rapidly growing segments in the region. Millet noted that existing products often fall short of consumer expectations, as they can be too heavy, sweet, or not fulfilling enough.
