Dodla Dairy posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 63.38 crore in Q2 FY25, marking a robust 45.36% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue from operations surged by 29.94%, reaching Rs 997.62 crore over Q2 FY24.

Profit before tax (PBT) rose 45.52%, totaling Rs 86.27 crore, compared to Rs 59.28 crore in Q2 FY24. Total expenses during the quarter saw a 28.77% year-on-year (YoY) rise to Rs 920.91 crore, while the cost of materials consumed declined by 7.48% to Rs 612.36 crore. Employee benefit expenses grew by 17%, standing at Rs 39.71 crore for the period.

The company's Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) showed a 37.17% YoY jump to Rs 96.3 crore, with the EBITDA margin improving to 9.6% from 9.1% in the same quarter last year.

Key Growth Drivers:

  • Domestic Business: Grew by 26.2% YoY to Rs 903.2 crore.
  • International Business: Exhibited an 81.1% YoY growth, contributing Rs 94.4 crore in revenue for Q2 FY25.

Operational Highlights:

  • Average milk procurement reached 17.2 lakh liters per day (LLPD), reflecting a 1.17% YoY growth.
  • Milk sales averaged 11.6 LLPD, up 6.42% YoY, while curd sales reached 323.8 metric tonnes per day (MTPD), up 4.63% YoY.
  • Value-added products (VAP) sales surged by 93.49%, totaling Rs 377.9 crore, driven primarily by higher butter and skimmed milk powder sales.
