Coles and Woolworths, two of Australia's largest supermarket chains, will cease selling Almond Breeze milk products once current stocks are depleted.
Despite the rising popularity of dairy alternatives, Almond Breeze milk will no longer be available in Australia due to profitability issues faced by its suppliers.
"Blue Diamond Growers appreciates and values our customer and business relationships in Australia and New Zealand. However, we have reached a point where the product offerings are no longer competitive or profitable," stated the company.
Coles and Woolworths will continue to sell Almond Breeze milk until existing inventories are exhausted.
