Christian Granlund Appointed as Arla Denmark's Supply Chain Director

Christian Granlund has assumed the role of senior vice president for Denmark Supply Chain End-to-End at Arla Denmark starting from 1 November. Granlund brings extensive international experience in managing complex supply chains, having previously worked with Carlsberg Group and the Norwegian dairy company TINE.

The position at Arla is newly created to support the company's strategy of optimizing the supply chain from farm to refrigerator. Granlund will oversee both production and distribution within Denmark. He has expressed his eagerness to become acquainted with Arla and plans to visit various sites across Denmark in November and December to understand the organization better.

Granlund stated, "I believe that with a unified perspective, we can strengthen efficiency, create more value for customers, and at the same time develop Arla’s position in the market." He emphasized the significance of Arla's role in Denmark's food supply chain, especially during global uncertainties, noting that Arla's direct delivery model positions the company as a crucial player in both peacetime and crisis situations.
