Carbery Group Sees 8% Revenue Growth Despite Challenging Dairy Market

Carbery Group, a leading ingredients, flavours, and cheese producer headquartered in Cork, announced an 8% rise in revenue for the fiscal year 2025, totaling €723 million. This growth allowed the company to contribute an additional €3 million to its Stability Fund, aimed at supporting milk prices during periods of volatility. However, the group's EBITDA fell by 3% to €29.7 million, attributed to weaker dairy market returns in the latter half of the year.

Despite these challenges, Carbery Group continued to prioritize its farmer shareholders, offering a leading milk price and ensuring robust returns. The company emphasized its diversified business model, which CEO Jason Hawkins noted as a key factor in sustaining growth even amidst a challenging market environment.

Chairperson Vincent O'Donovan highlighted that 2025 was particularly strong for milk prices in the first half of the year, contributing to the cooperative's ability to provide a sustainability bonus and other support measures. He underscored the importance of maintaining a sustainable and resilient future for farming in West Cork, aligning with Carbery's commitment to its cooperative roots while expanding globally.

Carbery Group's continued investment in business expansion and digital infrastructure, alongside its sustainability initiatives, were significant contributors to the year's performance. The company remains focused on supporting future generations of farmers while reducing its debt levels.
