Brent Goldsack Steps Down from Fonterra Board After Nine Years

Brent Goldsack has chosen to retire from his position on the Fonterra Board following the conclusion of his term. His departure aligns with the standard rotation cycle for director elections at Fonterra, during which shareholder-owners will vote to fill two farmer-elected director positions. Cathy Quinn, another director whose term is ending, has confirmed her intention to seek re-election.

During his nine years on the board, Goldsack significantly contributed to the cooperative's governance and financial strategies. He chaired the Capital Structure Committee and the Co-operative Relations Committee and also served on several other key committees, including the Milk Price Panel, the Strategic Review Committee, the Sustainability and Innovation Committee, and the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.

Fonterra Chairman Peter McBride publicly acknowledged Goldsack's dedication and leadership. McBride highlighted that Goldsack's efforts have left Fonterra well-positioned for future success, expressing gratitude on behalf of the board and the farmer shareholders for his commitment.
