Arla Foods Ingredients to Unveil Protein Innovations at Fi Europe 2023
Arla Foods Ingredients is preparing to present its latest developments in milk and whey protein technologies at the Fi Europe event, which will take place fr om December 2-4, 2023, in Paris, France. The event, marking its 30th anniversary, is a significant platform for showcasing innovations in the food ingredients sector.
Among the highlights from Arla are new application concepts designed to meet the nutritional needs of consumers. These include a high-protein transparent yoghurt, a gluten-free high-protein cookie with a soft-baked texture and no added sugar, and a high-protein brownie with a fudgy texture, also without added sugar.
The exhibition will feature over 1,500 exhibitors, providing a comprehensive look at advancements in the sector. Arla Foods Ingredients will be at stand 71G8, wh ere they will display these innovations, emphasizing the functional and nutritional benefits of their products.
According to research cited by Arla, more than 40% of health-conscious consumers choose dairy products to enhance their protein intake, while over 30% opt for such products as part of a guilt-free snacking routine. This signals a growing demand for innovative dairy formats targeting specific nutritional requirements.
Arla's stand will also include an Innovation Spotlight area, showcasing five new application concepts that blend taste, functional nutrition, and novelty. One of these is the Easy Bite snack bar, offering up to 40% high-quality protein in a convenient serving size.

Arla's application centers utilize flexible pilot equipment to simulate large-scale production processes, thus expediting the time to market for new products.
