Aguascalientes' Milk Supplies Mexican Military Under New Agreement

The Mexican military has entered into a new commercial agreement with local dairy producers in Aguascalientes, Mexico. As part of the initial phase of this agreement, 16,000 units of semi-skimmed milk, each in 900-milliliter bags, will be delivered weekly. These units are packaged in boxes containing 12 bags each. This phase involves four scheduled deliveries within the first month to assess the logistics involved before any increase in the volume of milk contracted.

The milk collection process is directly handled by military transport at the Alilácteos processing plant, located in the municipality of Pabellón de Arteaga. The agreement specifies that the dairy company provides only fluid milk, while the military handles the creation and printing of the institutional packaging.

The leadership of the local dairy association is optimistic that the orders will gradually increase. This expectation is based on the plan for the military base in Aguascalientes to begin redistributing the milk to other military commands and regiments across various states in Mexico. The initiative aims to establish the quality and safety standards of Aguascalientes' milk within the federal supply network.
