AgriHealth Partners with Dairy Women's Network for Animal Health Education
The Dairy Women's Network (DWN) has announced a new partnership with AgriHealth, a New Zealand-based animal health company. This collaboration is aimed at supporting the veterinary profession and farming community by educating farmers through various initiatives.
AgriHealth will conduct a series of workshops and webinars for DWN members. These sessions will cover critical animal health topics, including mastitis, on-farm diagnostics, reproduction, and overall herd health for cows and calves. The goal is to enhance productivity through on-farm efficiencies, supported by practical resources.
Jules Benton, DWN's chief executive, emphasized that the partnership would bolster the organization's ability to provide reliable animal health information to its members. She highlighted the importance of making informed decisions on the farm, stating, "Animal health is a critical part of successful and sustainable dairy farming."
Lyndsay Lawrence, AgriHealth's head of marketing and technical, noted that the shared values of collaboration and knowledge growth between the two organizations made the partnership a natural fit. Lawrence expressed excitement about connecting with DWN's members and supporting them with practical animal health knowledge.
Events are scheduled to begin in the coming months across key dairy regions. These workshops will be accessible both in-person and online, ensuring that as many farmers as possible can benefit from the resources provided.
