The US emerges as a crucial market outside Europe, importing £75 million worth of UK cheese in 2024. Despite challenging trading conditions globally, the UK’s dairy sector has displayed resilience, thanks to strategic trade missions and expanding markets like Singapore and Qatar.
Notably, cheese exports to the UAE climbed by 52.5%, reflecting successful market penetration efforts, while new prospects are being explored in Thailand and other regions.
