EAEU countries reduced agricultural production by 0.3% over 9 months - EEC

Farms of all categories of EAEU countries for 9 months of this year compared to the same period last year reduced agricultural production by 0.3%, according to the EEC press release.
Growth was observed in Armenia (by 1.6%), Russia (+1.3%) and Kyrgyzstan (+0.1%), a decrease in Kazakhstan (by 9.9%) and Belarus (-0.2%) . In the EAEU states, the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops (excluding corn) is being completed. As of October 1, grain harvest increased only in Armenia (by 21%). In Belarus, the harvest decreased by 16.6%, in Kyrgyzstan (at the end of September) - by 18.2%, in Russia - by 10%. Data for Kazakhstan are not provided. The press release also reports that the production of livestock and poultry (for slaughter, in live weight) over 9 months in the EAEU countries increased by 2.3%, milk - by 2.9%, eggs - by 1.2%. An increase in livestock and poultry production, as well as milk, was noted in all EAEU states except Armenia. An increase in egg production was observed in Kyrgyzstan and Russia, a decrease in Armenia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
