The company's move follows an extensive consumer survey which indicated a strong preference for organic products among plant-based milk buyers, with 92% of premium purchasers favoring organic options.

Organic Artisan is crafted from pure-pressed, raw, never-roasted macadamias and aims to replicate the simplicity and creaminess of homemade nut milk in a convenient, shelf-stable format. Alexandra Newman, CEO of milkadamia, stated, "We’re proud to introduce Organic Artisan Shelf Stable to our lineup as demand for organic options continues to grow. This product underscores our commitment to offering exceptional and sustainable plant-based milks."

The product is marketed as an ethical and simple choice for consumers, made without fillers, gums, added flavors, or oils, and is lightly sweetened with organic agave nectar. It caters to a broad range of dietary preferences, being dairy-free, lactose-free, gluten-free, soy-free, cholesterol-free, and carrageenan-free.

With the release of Organic Artisan, milkadamia continues to support sustainable farming practices by sourcing nuts from organic farms. The product is available in a 32-ounce Tetra Pak carton retailing at $6.99, and a six-pack offering on Amazon for $41.99, and can be found in over 13,000 retailers nationwide including Sprouts, Kroger, Albertsons, and Target, in addition to Whole Foods Market.
