Iran's Dairy Exports Reach New Heights

Iran's dairy exports experienced a significant boost over the past 11 months, both in volume and value.

According to figures released by the Iran Dairy Industries Society (IDIS), Iran’s dairy exports surpassed 0.587 million metric tons (mt) with a value of $948.9 million in the 11 months leading up to late February.
This marked a 19% increase in volume terms and a 43% increase in value terms compared to the same period ending February 2024. Notably, powdered milk exports constituted 38.6% of total dairy exports, bringing in approximately $366.7 million in revenue for Iran. The shipments of powdered milk alone soared by 51% year on year.
