Fonterra Oceania Expands Product Range to Meet Evolving Consumer Preferences
Among the new offerings are the Mainland Special Reserve Chilli and Garlic Brie, Anchor Ghee, and a new cheese snacking range, which reflect broader lifestyle and taste trends. These innovations highlight Fonterra's strategy to provide more indulgent and luxurious products for modern consumers.
Renée Milkop-Kerr, Fonterra Oceania’s director of marketing and innovation, emphasized the importance of continually innovating to meet changing consumer preferences. "People are looking for richer, fuller flavors and more convenience in their dairy products," she explained.
In New Zealand, the launch of Anchor Double Cream offers a richer and creamier option for cooking and entertaining, while Anchor Ghee meets the needs of consumers preparing Indian and Sri Lankan dishes. In Australia, the new Mainland Sweet Cinnamon Spreadable butter challenges traditional perceptions by making butter the star flavor.
Fonterra’s new product line-up also includes snack-friendly Kapiti yoghurt singles and two new natural cheese slice options, American Style Cheddar and Gouda, addressing both flavor and convenience for on-the-go consumers. These additions underscore Fonterra's commitment to keeping pace with evolving consumer tastes across Oceania.
