Throughout his tenure, Konkle has strengthened Dairy MAX’s capacity to serve over 900 dairy farm families across eight states, driving initiatives that promote dairy farming and American agriculture. His leadership has ensured the organization's resilience, expanded partnerships, and boosted its outreach to both youth and adults.

“Mike’s passion and vision have left an indelible mark on Dairy MAX,” said Mary Kraft, chairman of the board. “While we will miss his leadership, the foundation he built ensures our continued success.”

A transition plan is underway, with the board actively searching for a successor to carry forward Konkle’s legacy and lead Dairy MAX into its next chapter.

Founded more than 40 years ago, Dairy MAX represents dairy farmers across Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. The nonprofit organization is committed to promoting dairy farming and making a lasting impact through strategic outreach programs.
