In a statement, the event was described as an engaging platform for consumers to relish the rich quality of Kerrygold milk with their loved ones. Now in its fourth year, the annual activity aims to celebrate Irish dairy through fun-filled activities and exciting rewards.

Street Gifting and Public Engagement

In the lead-up to the milk party, Kerrygold representatives took to the streets of Lagos, distributing select Kerrygold product sizes to the public. This initiative ensured widespread participation in the World Milk Day celebration.

Promoting Irish Dairy Quality

Ese Okpomo, regional manager for West Africa at Bord Bia, emphasized the importance of the dairy sector to Ireland. "Irish cows are reared naturally, enjoying a diet of over 90 percent grass and spending most of their time outdoors. This natural rearing results in creamy and highly nutritious Irish dairy products," Okpomo stated.

Direct Consumer Engagement

Abayomi Adesanmi, head of sales and marketing at Ornua Nigeria, highlighted the significance of the event. "Kerrygold is dedicated to promoting the health benefits of Irish dairy and creating joyful moments for families. The Kerrygold Milk Party at Ikeja City Mall was a wonderful opportunity for us to engage with our consumers directly and celebrate World Milk Day in a fun and memorable way."

Future Prospects

The successful event not only celebrated Irish dairy but also strengthened the bond between Irish dairy producers and Nigerian consumers, paving the way for future collaborations and promotions in the region.
