BENEO Appoints Olivier Roques as CEO to Lead Expansion in Plant-Based Ingredients

BENEO GmbH, a leader in plant-based functional ingredients, has announced the appointment of Olivier Roques as its new Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Executive Board, effective June 1. Olivier Roques also takes on the role of Chief Sales Officer, succeeding Dominic Speleers.
Olivier Roques brings a wealth of expertise to his new positions, with over thirty years of experience in the international ingredients sector. He holds an engineering degree in agronomics and a master’s degree in business administration. His professional journey began in the dairy and flavor industries, followed by more than two decades in various leadership capacities at Agrana Fruit, a top global manufacturer of fruit preparations. Most recently, he served as CEO of Agrana Fruit Europe.
In his new roles at BENEO, Roques will oversee all sales and marketing efforts. His arrival coincides with a critical phase of growth for BENEO, as the company continues to expand its diverse portfolio of plant-based functional ingredients.
