Camel milk is sold quite successfully in China - Meruert Rakhimberdieva, Eurasia Invest

“Today, 21 protocols have been signed between our country and China on the export of Kazakh agricultural and food products, which has made it possible to significantly increase the supply of agricultural products to China. At the same time, Kazakhstan can expand the volume of exports of environmentally friendly agricultural products to the Chinese market. The export potential for vegetable oils and meal alone is $300 million,” said Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliev during the presentation of the national pavilion.
According to him, Kazakhstani producers of livestock products, in particular beef, lamb and poultry, have great opportunities.
Trade logistics is also successfully developing between Kazakhstan and China. Today, a route network has been created that covers railways, roads, and aviation. For example, the transit road corridor “Western Europe - Western China” allows you to deliver goods to Europe in 10-12 days.
Currently, Kazakhstan is making serious efforts to become a transport and logistics hub of international importance. Since 2014, a logistics terminal has been operating in the port of Lianyungang, created jointly with Chinese partners. In May 2023, construction began on the Kazakh terminal in the dry port of Xi'an.
In the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the next three years, it is planned to build 1,300 km of new railway tracks, open the 3rd railway checkpoint on the border with China and build new dry ports “Bakhty” and “Kalzhat”. That is, Kazakhstan is actively creating favorable conditions for the transportation of goods in the direction of Europe and the Middle East.
In addition, the heads of delegations were introduced to the activities of the Kazakh Invest and Kazakh Export companies, the Khorgos International Center for Cross-Border Cooperation, the Astana International Financial Center, the Astana Hub technology park, etc.
As part of the commercial pavilion “From Agro-Industrial Complex to Innovation”, more than 30 Kazakh enterprises are participating in the exhibition, including manufacturers of food, flour, dairy and alcohol products, confectionery and pasta, honey, salt, combined additives for farm animals, etc. Among them are companies such as “Bayan Sulu”, “Mareven Food Tien-Shan”, “Mibeko”, “Almaty Product”, “Sultan Marketing”, “Eurasia Invest”, “Ust-Kamenogorsk Creamery”, “DEP”, “ Bacchus" and others.
According to Miras Kilybaev, a representative of the Mareven Food Tien Shan company, domestic food products are popular both within the country and in Central Asia as a whole. At the same time, the Chinese market is of strategic interest for the company.
“We are pleased to take part in such a large-scale event. We have all the resources for the successful development of trade relations with China: short logistics distance, a decent range of products of the highest quality and a willingness to invest in infrastructure,” he said.
Eurasia Invest has been presenting its products - dried camel and mare's milk - at the exhibition for the sixth year in a row. As company representative Meruert Rakhimberdieva noted, thanks to the EXPO, the company found permanent partners in China. “Camel milk is sold quite successfully in China. The Chinese consumer places high demands on product quality. German drying technology allows us to preserve all the beneficial properties of milk and ensure the quality of the product,” said Meruert Rakhimberdieva.
