Prices for feed vitamins and amino acids continue to fall
Threonine fell in price by 8%, which was the sharpest drop in a week. In ruble terms, the price decline was less pronounced: threonine fell by 6.5%, and methionine by 5.3%.
Despite the overall price decline, the cost of lysine continues to rise. Over the week, lysine sulfate rose in price by 5.1%, and lysine HCL by 2.2%. Analysts note that the rate of growth in lysine prices remains at the level of the previous week, and in rubles, the growth was even more significant: lysine sulfate rose by 7.1%, lysine HCL by 4.1%.
Prices for feed vitamins also began to decline, with the exception of vitamins A1000, E50 and B12, which rose in price within 2.5%. The prices for vitamin B2 (by 8.3%) and vitamin B5 (by 8.6%) fell the most. Biotin became cheaper by 5.1%.
In contrast, the Chinese market has seen rising prices for threonine and methionine, although demand remains moderate and supplies are stable. Producers such as Zhejiang NHU have increased their selling prices for methionine by 10%, but experts do not expect significant changes in the market in the short term.
