Schreiber Foods has announced a significant $211 million expansion of its existing facility in Carthage, Missouri, aimed at enhancing its process-cheese production capabilities. The project includes the construction of a 168,000-square-foot state-of-the-art production facility and is expected to create 150 new jobs, reinforcing the company’s commitment to meeting growing U.S. demand.

Boosting Local Economy
The investment has been welcomed by local leaders who see it as a catalyst for economic growth in the region.

Strategic Growth for Schreiber
Schreiber Foods, a North American leader in private-label cream cheese, natural cheese, process cheese, beverages, and yogurt, views the expansion as a strategic move to strengthen its market position and production capacity.

Mobilization of construction is slated to begin in January 2025, with completion expected by 2027. The new facility will incorporate advanced technology to improve efficiency and support the company’s long-term growth initiatives.
