Rosselkhoznadzor identified the latest approved exporter as Alabuga Sote, a dry milk manufacturer based in Tatarstan. The company was successfully registered through the Chinese CIFER information system, enabling it to enter the growing Chinese market.

Recent data from China's General Administration of Customs highlights the significant growth in Russian dairy exports. In the first half of 2024, China imported $922,974 worth of Russian cheese and cottage cheese, a dramatic increase from $99,250 during the same period last year—representing a 9.3-fold rise. Similarly, Russian milk deliveries to China surged to $534,337 from $141,640.

This expansion underscores the strengthening trade relations between Russia and China in the dairy sector, with more Russian producers gaining access to the lucrative Chinese market.
