Roland Barthélemy expressed his respect for those working in this industry, from milk producers to master cheesemakers: "What brings us together here? It’s our respect for cheese, our love for this product, and our deep appreciation for the people who make it. The guild’s goal is to unite people and pass down knowledge to new generations."

In his speech, he recalled that at the last Mondial du Fromage, the World Cheese Salon held in Tours, France, Kazakh cheeses made a great impression, earning the admiration of professionals.

"At the last Mondial, thanks to the efforts of Alexandra Grigorova and Alexey Andreev, Kazakh cheeses were evaluated among 1,600 entries, and their uniqueness amazed the judges. These cheeses impressed professionals and brought home medals," said the cheese expert.

Roland Barthélemy noted that with a dedicated booth for Kazakh products at Mondial du Fromage, Kazakhstan showcased the richness of its cheese products and highlighted Central Asia's potential in this industry. Last year’s forum in Tours gathered over six thousand professionals from around the world, who had the opportunity to explore Kazakh cheese products.

The speaker also expressed hope that the participation of Kazakh and other Central Asian producers on the international stage will continue: "We look forward to welcoming guests from Central Asia, from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries with their new cheeses, and we hope they will proudly represent their region on the world cheese stage."
