According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, from January to September 2024, the import of pasteurized milk into the country totaled 159.3 tons.
This is nearly half compared to the same period last year, when imports reached 305.5 tons.
The Ministry notes that the decrease in imports is due to an increase in domestic milk production and a desire to support the local market.
